In 1996, Velune began with a simple belief. We wanted to create watches and jewelry that would quietly become part of someone's life — pieces worn, remembered, gifted and eventually, perhaps, passed on.
Because eventually, the object becomes more than the object. It remembers with you.
Chapter I
1996
Velune Began Quietly.
No grand introduction. No desire to become the loudest name in the room.
Just an obsession with proportion, materials, detail and the feeling a beautifully made object creates when you hold it for the first time.
We built around the person who would eventually wear the piece — not around the season in which it would be sold.
Chapter II
The Years Between
Thirty Years Became More Than a Number.
Pieces left us and began completely different lives with someone else.
Gifts became memories. Anniversaries became decades. Children became parents.
Velune pieces found their way into jewelry boxes, photographs, weddings, dinners, departures and reunions across the world.
Different countries. Different languages. Different lives.
Chapter III
The Decision
There Is Rarely a Perfect Moment to Say Goodbye.
But there is a right one.
After thirty years, we made the difficult decision to bring Velune to a close.
Not because we stopped loving what we do. Quite the opposite.
We want to leave while Velune still means exactly what it was created to mean.
This is ours.

What Remains Today Is Simply What Remains.
The final watches. The final bracelets. The final necklaces. The final pieces carrying the Velune name.
There is no new collection waiting behind this one. Once the remaining pieces leave us, they will not be recreated.
The Final Chapter
When It's Gone,
It Becomes History.
There will be no restock. No next production. No new collection replacing what disappears today.
Somewhere, years from now, someone may ask: “Where did you get that?”
And perhaps the answer will be:
“From Velune. Before they closed.”

Thank you to those who discovered us years ago. Thank you to those who found us only recently. And thank you to everyone who chose Velune for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and moments we will never know about.
For thirty years, you gave our work somewhere to go. That has always mattered more than anything.
We made them.
You gave them meaning.
It has been the privilege of my life.
